Nice starting point to our journey. Nice staff and after hours check in and check out was super easy. Nice gravel level pull thru site we stayed at. Check the site for all the amenities they have its really a good price for what you get.

Stayed in an RV here. Excellent sites with fire pit, fairly easy to maneuver inside the park, very friendly and excellent staff. All RV sites come with a picnic table and fire pit. Quiet, friendly park. My ONLY issue was the hot water in the showers took about 5 mins to come on and the water pressure was terrible.

We only stayed for one night and it was totally fine! I do agree the bathrooms could use some updating. When we got our little map from the office, we noticed they had a pizza place on there that said they delivered to the campground. We were exhausted so we decided to just do that. But when I called, they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. It was called Mountain Mike's. I kept saying we were at the KOA campground and he kept asking me what hotel or apartment we were in. 🤣

This is a great RV park and staff was great, but my family picked this for camping and as a camping experience this is the worst KOA I've been to. The campground size was tiny with very little shade. The ground was mostly ants before we even got to any food and it was loud at night making sleep difficult.

I enjoyed my one night cabin rental. Park is nice and quiet in the evenings. At night barking dogs from the surrounding neighborhood can be heard, not enough to keep me awake all night but just a note for light sleepers to bring ear plugs. And of course that's nothing the owners of this KOA have control over. Staff were friendly & I would stay here again :)Also beautiful sunsets here ....

Great little place! It's more in townish but the area Itself seems pretty safe. Camping section is clean and organized! The koa has decent amenities but if you're coming without kid's and don't mind being in town a little its a great place to stay😁

Heather is a GREAT KOA Office Manager! She was cheerful, helpful, and kind. She was a delight to work with today. The park is open, tidy, and well-located. I loved the roses and daisies lining the entrance as we drove into the park.

Nice place to stay overnight. Not sure I'd want to stay long-term. Lady that checked is in was SUPER nice and we had an easy pull-through. We didn't really have any issues, but we weren't wowed. The guy next to us had a smoking fire that was all over our rig and no one said anyone. Saw an RV with a boot on it and the owner wearing ankle bracelet. Not something that makes you feel at home.

I recently had the worst experience at KOA Visalia. I was shocked by the rude and unprofessional behavior of one of the staff members, an older woman.Upon arrival, as we were parking and moving our RVs out of the way of traffic, one of our family members went inside to ask some questions. The staff member aggressively approached us, clearly upset that we had pulled into the RV park instead of going inside first. There were absolutely no signs indicating that we could not enter the property before checking in. We were simply trying to move out of the way of actual road traffic.Despite our intentions to follow the rules and explain that we planned to use the dump station and that one of our family members might stay at the park, she continued to be aggressive and rude. Her behavior escalated as we tried to park, with her yelling and threatening to call the sheriffs, insisting that we leave immediately. This unprovoked hostility made us feel extremely unwelcome. This was by far the worst service I have ever encountered at an RV park. I do not recommend KOA Visalia to anyone looking for a pleasant and respectful environment. Save yourself the trouble and find another place to stay.

Had a very pleasant experience and will return. Clean, friendly and a return trip is already in the works. Restrooms were very clean and warm during chilly nights. Thank you!

Staff was awesome. Location and getting to it was an experience. GPS in the truck had us going down a very questionable road. You can tell there were some long term residents there. Staff was very upfront on a water issue that they had and kept us well informed.

The deluxe cabin was a big disappointment. Not clean, sofa was to small, dirty and broken, slider door was broken, coffe pot was filthy. The place needed a deep cleaning ect, ect. Poor location surrounded by noisy home owners. Not a reflection of a true KOA campground. We definitely over paid. Would not recommend the park to anyone.

We are here for the duration of a travel job.The entire management team are “ the best”Professional in the daily tasks, yet friendly, funny and do absolutely anything & everything needed to make a wonderful stay!!We definitely recommend for a short or longer stay: they do accommodate!!

Nasty restrooms. Filthy broken shower doubles as a sauna because the A/C was not on. Needs paint and maintenance and so much more..... I cannot believe KOA lets them keep their franchise. Do not stay here unless there are no other options and you cannot drive any further. $75 a night for this dump is ridiculous.

The camp wasn't that good but the cats were nice. Some cats wouldn't come near and others would but were still scared. You can pet the cats and they are very soft. If you like cats then this is a pretty good place.

Nice place for transit on a trip. Pool closed in October, restrooms clean and nice hot water. One idea is please put a recycling bin near the camp sink! We had to wash our bottles, etc, then traipse to the other side of the ground to recycle!

This was a unexpected stay me and my family were “heatstrocken” and couldn’t make it to Sequoia on time before night. We were all glad there was a pool to refresh ourselves. We enjoyed it more then expected! Thank you KOA for accepting us last minute.

Be aware that when the temperature is HOT, the park's electrical system will experience blackouts. Nothing like coming home from hiking to an RV with the interior temperature in the low 90's. Lots of stickers in the grass, so wear shoes. This may be my dog's least favorite park that we have visited. I expected more from a KOA. Office worker was friendly enough, but could not fix or attempt to fix the electrical issue.

Passing through this was a fine place to sleep for the night, but for the price of $70 for just water and electric (when we typically stay at very nice holiday KOAs for the same rate) - we felt disappointed with our stay. The bathrooms were clean-ish, but there were still cobwebs and very DIY. In the men’s room, you would step on loose tile that would squish water up through it. For the price point, we expected professionally renovated bathrooms. Sites are on gravel and pretty close together with no privacy. Within the park there was noise late into the night that sounded like an ice cream truck and we could hear the nearby train throughout the night. In summary, for the experience we should’ve stayed at the Love’s down the road rather than spend the money here.

Site was a little short for our 44 ft 5th wheel and truck. Luckily, the site beside us was empty so we parked there.Just a 45 minute drive to the AMAZING Kings Canyon & Sequoia National parks.

Great location - easy off the freeway. All the sites have a lot of grass which was nice as we just came from an Arizona trip where there wasn't any grass!. Nice pull thru sites and the dog run was big and it also had grass. Well maintained. There is a train that was nearby and two trains went through but other than that it was very quiet.

Just went here to purchase propane and dump the holding tanks, close to home for me. Can tell you though management very friendly and helpful. I saw them serve a camper coming in when I went inside to pay. If going to the Sequoias, would say this is a good place to camp before heading up. Do want to mention though if you are not accustomed to Valley summers make sure your A/C works.

We love this Koa and how beautifully landscaped it is with flowers and the green trees and how friendly the staff is we will choose Visalia Koa any day. The pool is clean and ready for the summer. It’s close to a lot of different things. Thank you Koa staff for the cleanliness and your kindness.

Pool wasn't working for our stay, which was quite disappointing as that was a huge reason we booked a KOA, in addition to not even being told about it at check-in. We were told by a neighbor after they saw us dressed for swimming that it was closed. The playground was also a small play structure that looked for younger kids, but then there were no bucket seat swings for infants/toddlers, so our 2.5 yr old wasn't into it. There wouldn't be enough space for more than a few kids to comfortably play with how small of an area it is. Ok area. Otherwise, that felt safe enough.

Short trip but we had fun. Nice campgrounds, clean facilities, decently quiet area for being more in the city. Good for a rest stop on a road trip. Friendly staff, pet friendly.

The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. My family and I stayed in a cabin with no restroom. It was really nice and well maintained. The location is right off the freeway, used to be in the country, now surrounded by a development. With that being said, you get the park feeling while camping very close to amenities. Great experience for a night or two.

Summer F — Google review

Although a little further from Sequoia National Park than I'd have expected, it was close enough that we made it worm. The staff, sites, and overall grounds were at a level we've come to expect from KOA - predictably good.

First night cabin rental. Pros: clean and comfortable, allowed pet. Cons: too many creepy crawlers.Second night tent rental. Pros: nice grassy area, able to park car next to tent, electricity available. Cons: no water at site (for both the cabin and tent site), very noisy due to surrounding neighborhood, nearby roadway and being positioned in the middle of all the RV’s and their generators. Also far too many barking dogs in and around the park, fine during the day but miserable at night. The amenities - pool, laundry, full bathrooms, store, playground and dog park. Pros: overall pretty clean andwell maintained. The bathrooms need upgrading but everything worked - although the hot water was gone by the time I took my shower. Cons: primarily the noise levels. For those wanting to rent a cabin or an RV space this park is certainly pleasant enough. Tons of bird varieties. The staff is very accommodating - even allowed for early check in and late check out. However for those tent camping, unless you are a sound sleeper, you might find quieter campgrounds elsewhere.

Not one of the best KOA; not one of the worst. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Perfect place to syay to see Sequoia National Park, and the General Sherman Sequoia. Wow what an expereience. In addition to the trees (unique in the world), the drive up the moutains and lookouts are unbelievable. Worth pulling on ones bucket list.

Paul K — Google review

Not too far from Sequoia National Park and close to Visalia for markets and restaurants. It's an older park and could use some TLC - it was clean but needed lots of work. Our gravel site was mostly level. Lots of grassy tent sites. The showers are very dark - bring a light.
